- Assisting your baby with feeding will help you and your baby enjoy
mealtimes; assist in meeting your baby's nutritional needs; and encourage normal speech development.

Who We See
Infants who have difficulty breastfeeding, bottle feeding or transitioning to solids due to:
* Physical disabilities
* Premature birth
* Failure to thrive
* Reflux
The Assessment
A detailed assessment of your baby's feeding skills will include: an
interview with the mother or carer; observation of feeding skills; and
standardised assessment of the baby's physical development.
Intervention and Therapy
Following the assessment an individualised program will be developed to assist you and your baby with feeding. Intervention may include exercises to build up the face and mouth muscles required for feeding and speech development; changes to your feeding positions; and introduction of suitable textured foods for older babies.
