Child First - Paediatric Occupational Therapy

Our paediatric occupational therapists are able to assist your baby or child with problems affecting their development of fine motor skills, visual perceptual skills, play, socialisation, and concentration.

The Team

Our paediatric occupational therapist Roslyn Fenton has extensive experience in Australia and the United Kingdom in providing assessment and intervention services for children and adults with a variety of developmental and neurological conditions including Autism Spectrum disorders, Cerebral Palsy, age related disabilities and developmental delays.

At Child First we work with children with disabilities as well as those children who just are not quite keeping up with their peers.

Intervention and Therapy

Following assessment of your child it will be determined if therapy is required.

At Child First a combination of treatment approaches is used to meet the individual needs of each child. We work collaboratively with Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Literacy Specialists, Families and Teachers to ensure the treatment program fits the needs and priorities of the child and their family.

Child First provides a mobile service and can see children at home, school or in our rooms at Pymble.

Child First is an accredited Early Intervention Service provider for the “Helping Children with Autism” Package provided by the Govt. dept. FaHCSIA.
